Efficient Multilingual Typing with Lachit Keyboard
Lachit Multilingual Keyboard is a free Android utility tool developed by Mridul Kumar Sharmah. It allows users to switch between QWERTY and Indian keyboards with ease. The keyboard layouts are designed to provide easy access to frequently used characters, and the preview of shift keys helps users easily identify letters.
Some of the notable features of Lachit Keyboard include efficient single-handed typing, auto-suggestion of words in English, Assamese, Bangla, and Hindi languages, and automatic saving of words not in the dictionary. The main keyboard includes commonly used punctuation marks, and double-tapping the spacebar inserts a period and space in both languages. Additionally, the app offers a collection of commonly used emojis and works in almost all versions of Android.
To activate the keyboard after installation, follow these steps: open the app and click on "Enable Lachit Keyboard." Select Lachit, Lachit Bangla, or Lachit Hindi as per your requirement, then return to the previous screen and click on "Make Lachit Default Keyboard." You can start typing right away!
